Hi, I'm Jessica
I'm a registered teacher, horsewoman and student of Aikido, based on Wadawurrung Country on the Surf Coast in Victoria, Australia.
I work with teens and adults to build horse-person-ship skills, confidence and a calm that goes home with them.
Inspired by Aikido's principle of working with, rather than against, people I work with learn to understand horses natural ways of communicating and relating which helps you stay safe, and find your balance, at your own pace.
Horses gave me a way to find calm and confidence in my teens and as an adult - now I help others find the same.
No experience needed, just a lot of respect for horses.
Aiki Equine Programs
Aiki Equine programs give you horsemanship skills and, because it is experiential learning, you learn throughout each experience about your emotional regulation, confidence and leadership. The work is therapeutic but it is not equine therapy — it is powerful in its own way, thanks to the ways horses teach us about ourselves.
